The partnership began with John and Sylvia Crump, members of Fernhill Heath Baptist Church, meeting Bishop Joel Obetia, when they were in Arua.
They invited him, when he was next in the UK, to come along to visit them and our Church.

When Bishop Joel came to the UK, he did visit us, and as a result of this visit he extended an invitation for a team to go from Fernhill Heath Baptist Church to visit Emmanuel Cathedral, and a year later a team of 5 went to Arua.

Rev Jeff Porter, on behalf of Fernhill Heath Baptist Church, extended an invitation for a team to visit from Emmanuel Cathedral, Arua, and as a result a team of 7 came to the UK in 2013.

from Fernhill Heath Baptist Church visited Emmanuel Cathedral
